Fluidized Bed Dryer
Widely applied in chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, food and feed industries fluidized bed dryers have many advantages over other drying methods.
Apart from the homogenous drying process which is ideal for some heat-sensitive material ,The advantages of fluidized bed drying also include low investment and maintenance costs, large-scale continuous production, lower air temperatures and a relatively short drying time. These advantages are possible due to the phenomenon behind the working principle of these dryers called fluidization. In fluidization process, hot air is introduced at high pressure through a perforated bed of moist solid particulate. The wet solids are lifted from the bottom and suspended in a stream of air (fluidized state). Heat transfer is accomplished by direct contact between the wet solid and hot gases.Depending on material and the capacity needed a variety of dimensions and dryer shapes can be designed and manufactured.
